Transfer Deadline: Osimhen’s Chelsea Move Collapses

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Victor Osimhen’s highly anticipated transfer to Chelsea has fallen through.
Despite a new proposal submitted just two hours ago, the Nigerian striker and the Blues were unable to reach a consensus.
Osimhen, a key figure in Napoli’s recent success, was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge on deadline day.
However, the parties failed to agree on terms, leaving the 25-year-old’s future uncertain.
According to reports, Osimhen will remain in Naples unless a substantial offer arrives from Saudi Arabia before Monday.
As the summer transfer window closes, Chelsea can now turn their attention to the squad they have assembled.
Manager Angelo Maresca will be looking to lead the Blues to a strong start to the season, beginning with their match against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
