The 2023-2024 Champions League has undergone a significant overhaul, adopting a ‘Swiss-style’ league phase instead of the traditional group stage. This new format will see 36 teams compete, playing eight matches each.

The draw for the competition took place in Monaco on Thursday, with Cristiano Ronaldo pressing the button to reveal the fixtures. The exact order of matches will be confirmed on Saturday, following the draws for the Europa League and Conference League.
