Ronaldo, Buffon Honored At 2024 UCL Draw

The draw for the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League took place in Monaco on Thursday evening. During the ceremony, two legends of the game were honoured.

Cristiano Ronaldo received a special award to recognize his remarkable achievement as the all-time leading goal scorer in the Champions League. The award was presented by UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin.

Former Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was also honoured with the 2024 UEFA President’s Award. Buffon is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time and has played a key role in the success of several clubs throughout his career.
