Ogun Declares Tuesday Public Holiday for Isese Day

Ogun State Government has declared Tuesday, August 20, as a public holiday to mark this year’s Isese Day.

According to a statement by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, the decision is in line with the government’s commitment to religious inclusivity.

The holiday will allow traditional worshippers across the state to observe their special day.

In the statement, Abiodun emphasized Ogun State’s reputation for religious harmony and tolerance, urging celebrants to maintain this peaceful atmosphere.

He also called on traditional worshippers to use the occasion to pray for peace and prosperity for the state and the nation.
