Okpoama Youth Leader to Daumiebi: Sylva did not Campaign in Okpoama, Face your Problems Straight

Seiyefa Ben-Basuo, The President of Okpoama Kingdom Youth Movement, has called on a former gubernatorial aspirant under APC in the last Governorship election in Bayelsa State to desist from blaming Timi Sylva for the security situation in Okpoama community, he said that the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Sylva did not Campaign in the community but only went to inform his people of his intention to govern the state again.

Seiyefa was reacting to a statement by Daumiebi that Sylva was in Okpoama to campaign where his deputy governorship candidate, Joshua Maciver, made some inciting statements.

He posited that the statement issued by Maciver was made in another community not in Okpoama, he urged Daumiebi to keep Okpoama out of the security challenges he is facing.

In a Press Conference ,Daumiebi had said that his life is under treat from The Nigerian Army because he did not support The APC during the gubernatorial election in the state, citing the two attacks on his country home at Igbomotoru in Southern Ijaw as politically motivated, fingering Joshua MacIver the Deputy Governorship candidate of The APC in the election as the person behind his persecution.
