Befitting Secretariat for IYC in Port Harcourt, Courtesy Governor Fubara

The governor of Rivers State, Governor Fubara has pledged to build Secretariat for Ijaw Youth Council ( Eastern zone) in Port Harcourt, he made the promise during a solidarity visit to the Government House in Port Harcourt.

This came as a as Governor Fubara lauded the solidarity shown by the Ijaw Nation during a commemoration of the late Major Isaac Adaka Boro which marked 56 years since the demise of Major Isaac Adaka Boro, a revered figure in the fight for equity and justice for the Ijaw people.

Addressing a gathering of IYC leaders, Fubara urged the Rivers State Indigenes to embrace the spirit of unity and progress.

His support for the IYC Eastern Zone in establishing a Secretariat emphasizes his dedication to fostering development and unity in the state. Amidst the fanfare of liberation Governor Fubara’s promise of support for the IYC Secretariat serves as a testament to the enduring partnership between the government and the Ijaw community in Rivers State.
