Ramadan Death: Veteran Kannywood actress Saratu Daso dies while fasting

Saratu Gidado, a renowned Kannywood actress who went as Daso, has passed away.

It was revealed by a Kano State local radio station that the well-known actress passed away as she slept.

The actress did not wake up on Tuesday morning following the midnight supper, which was the start of the day’s Ramadan fast, Sahur, according to her family.

For more than eighteen years, Daso was a well-known character in the Hausa cinema business until her passing.
