Bauchi: 10-year-old girl offered as ritual

In the Kirfi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly slain by suspected ritualists in Guyaba village.

Village reports claim that the victim’s parents reported her missing for a few days before her body was discovered dead with parts gone.

However, as at the time this story was written, specifics regarding the victim’s death remain hazy.

The state police command’s spokesperson, SP Ahmed Wakili, confirmed the event to DAILY POST on Sunday and stated that Commissioner CP Auwal Musa has ordered a probe into the horrifically violent death of the young girl.

He said, “The CP, Auwal Musa Muhammad, has directed the DPO, Kirfi Police Division, to investigate and unravel the circumstance of her death, arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of the dastardly act. So the investigation is ongoing.”
