The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has attributed the wealth amassed by 80 % of Igbos to President Bola Tinubu’s enduring legacy in Lagos State.

Ubah made this assertion after he was formally received into the fold of the All-Progressives Congress APC on October 12, 2023, in Abuja following his defection to the ruling party from the Young Progressives Party (YPP).

Ubah noted that Tinubu has the capacity to govern Nigeria.

“I want to be sincere; it has always been difficult for the Igbo people to key into the national party because of our sentiments and emotions. Since our president has emerged and I put that challenge to each Igbo man today in Nigeria, 70% – 80% of them derive their wealth from the legacy that the president has left in Lagos.

Our president is a politician who understands how it pains and how to console everybody. He has that capacity.

Ubah said he joined APC because he wanted the south-east to align with Tinubu’s administration.
