“I Don’t Trust You 100% But I Believe In Us — Actor Etim Effiong’s Wife, Toyosi”

Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong and his wife, Toyosi Effiong, opened up about trust, love, and resilience in their seven-year marriage during a candid episode of *The Toyosi Podcast*.

Daniel, a guest on the show, asked his wife, “Do you trust me 100 percent after seven years of marriage?” Toyosi’s response was both honest and reflective:

“Do I trust you a hundred percent? No, but I trust that you will always keep me in the loop,”** she admitted, adding that their years together had helped her understand him deeply.

She continued:  “I know you to a large extent, and I think you will do your absolute best to honour your vows. But I’m also aware that things happen, and if anything does, I believe I would know.”**

Daniel expressed his admiration for Toyosi, acknowledging her as a pillar of strength in his life.

“I feel like you were sent by God into my life. I really can’t imagine myself with anyone else. You have been a formidable partner, a driving force for our family, and a kind, thoughtful mother to our children.”

He also reflected on the challenges they’ve faced together:  “We’ve had tough days and dark times when we didn’t want to see each other. But through it all, the sum total of our journey has been fulfilling.”
