Funke Akindele Empowers 175 Crew of “Everybody Loves Jenifa.”

Funke Akindele, an actress and box office queen, has expressed her appreciation for the chance to empower 175 crew members who worked on her next movie, “Everybody Loves Jenifa.”

She featured a picture of the group on Instagram and thanked them for their commitment to making the film a reality.

Akindele disclosed that the film was entirely self-financed and expressed her satisfaction in giving a gifted cast—95% of whom are young people exhibiting their abilities—opportunities.

She reiterated her commitment to developing the next generation and providing them with opportunities for success while recognizing the smooth communication between the team members from Ghana and Nigeria.

 “Proud moment! I want to celebrate the incredible 175 crew members who worked tirelessly for nine weeks to bring ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ to life! As a self-funded project, I’m honoured to have empowered a team of talented individuals, with 95% of them being young people, to showcase their skills.

“Special shout-out to our Nigerian and Ghanaian crew members who collaborated seamlessly to make this happen. I believe in empowering the next generation and giving them opportunities to shine. And shine they did! Get ready for the movie’s release in December,” she wrote.
