Why Angelina Jolie Stopped Singing

Angelina Jolie, a well-known American actress, has explained why she quit singing.

She claims that the harsh criticism of her voice from her ex-boyfriend caused her to give up singing.

She recalled that she had believed she couldn’t sing since her ex had treated her badly when she tried to sing.

In a recent interview, Jolie told Hollywood Reporter that the criticism had a psychological effect on her and that she had come to accept her ex-boyfriend’s viewpoint as fact.

“I don’t sing. I had somebody in my life who was not kind to me about singing. It was a relationship I was in. And so I just assumed I couldn’t really sing. I’d been to theatre school, so it was weird that it even had an effect on me. I just kind of adapted to this person’s opinion,” she said.
