NLC President Leaves Police Headquarters After Interrogation

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, was let go by the police on Thursday after being detained for several hours at the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) command in Abuja.

Ajaero had been summoned for questioning in connection with allegations of terrorism financing, which he vehemently denied.

He arrived at the IRT headquarters accompanied by prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana and Lawyer, activist, Deji Adeyanju.

The exact details of the interrogation remain undisclosed, but sources indicate that Wabba was released without charges being filed against him.
