Boko Haram Terrorists Lay Siege, Attack Police Station In Borno State

Dreadful Boko Haram terrorists were reported to have attacked the Jakana Police Station in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State on Sunday morning.

During the gun battle, the Police Force were overpowered which led to the death of a policeman and a female officer.

According to reports, the attackers, who struck around 1:00 am on Sunday, engaged in a gunfight with security operatives until 3:00 am.

Unfortunately, the insurgents overpowered the Police officer, which gave them access to loot the station’s arms and ammunition.

They also set fire to two patrol vehicles and a motorcycle. One of the destroyed vehicles belonged to the police, while the other was used by the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).

The Matrix gathered that the Chairman of Konduga Local Government, Hon Abbas Ali Abari, confirmed the attack to Daily Trust.
