Villa Complete £47m Deal For PSG Winger Ibrahim Mbaye

Aston Villa have strengthened their attack with the signing of Senegal international Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain in a reported £47m ($63m) deal.

The 18-year-old winger made 31 appearances for PSG last season as the French giants won the Champions League and Ligue 1.

Mbaye has also established himself internationally, earning 15 caps for Senegal after making his PSG debut at just 16. He scored against France at the 2026 World Cup, becoming the youngest African player to score at the men’s tournament.

“Aston Villa is delighted to announce the signing of Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain,” the Premier League club said in a statement.

The France-born forward becomes Villa’s latest signing following a major squad overhaul under manager Unai Emery.

Villa have already brought in Alejandro Garnacho, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Johan Manzambi, Zion Suzuki, Joao Gomes, Leon Goretzka, Matteo Ruggeri and Nicolas Jackson after selling several key players, including Morgan Rogers, Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins.

The move comes after Villa ended a 30-year trophy drought by winning the Europa League last season.
