Most Rev. Ibanga Honoured As CPAC Holds National Stakeholders Convention

The Crown Patriots Chaplaincy International, CPAC , an organization committed to raising professionally trained , competent and ethically grounded chaplains, equipped to provide spiritual, emotional, humanitarian, institutional and community support services held it’s 2026 Annual Convention at Greenville Hotels and Gardens, Obosi, Anambra State. The event took place on Saturday, the 22nd day of August.

The event which gathered distinguished Chaplains from all over Nigeria featured executive addresses, Regional Command reports ROSTAMOB presentation, graduation of officers, Honour conferment/ Investiture, unveiling of CPAC special project, decoration of officers, award presentation among others.

Illuminating speeches were rendered by distinguished chaplains, these include, Executive address by The Chaplain General, Amb. Dr. Johnrich Ndubuisi Ubah, fccp, KSMT where he enumerated the essence of the convention, Peace in Africa: A shared responsibility for National Security and Social Cohesion by Chap. Rev. Fr. Dr. Moses Alfred, the International Director of Administration, Education and Operations of the organization. The President, Patrons Forum, Chap. Gen. Bishop (Dr)Norman Okeoromili presented an address tagged “The Heart of Chaplaincy: A Call to Conscience, Service, and Global Cohesion.”

The climax of the event was the presentation of awards to distinguished Chaplains including Most Rev Friday Ibanga, KSMT PJHR Diplomat who was recognized for his embodiment of virtues St. Martin of Tours, compassion towards the poor, evangelism and missionary works, humility and holiness and courage in defending the Christian faith. He was presented with the Global Leadership and Grand Defender of the Faith Award.

Other awardees include, Archbishop Sir, Onyeka Nzekwwsi, Knight of St. Martins of Tour, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, Bishop Moses Ezedebego, Barr. Chimezie Obi Ajeh and Apostle Amb. Berty Agbanusi.

In his speech after his award, Most Rev. Dr. Friday Ibanga, KSMT, PJHR Diplomat, titled “ The Doctrines of Peace, Justice and Human Rights: A Credential to Enter the Hall of Honour “ the clergyman in his characteristic manner held the audience spell bound as he went through the rudiments of becoming a chaplain, Heart of Chaplaincy, he said that hidden military attributes of kings are  found in the power of their utterances as they stand firm on their decisions. He further said that chaplains are higher than soldiers as they use spoken words in Commands and Decrees while traditional soldiers use ammunition. Rev. Ibanga enlightened the audience with peace advocacy while expatiating the components of peace. He concluded that, no one should play peace, justice and Human Rights politics for peace demonstrates justice into one another in human rights, which according to him is the heart of Chaplaincy.

Crown Patriots Chaplaincy International, CPAC, is a duly registered organization with International Headquarters at Anambra State, there are state Commands across Nigeria. The organization has branches in South Africa, Ghana, Togo, Cameroon and Ethiopia.
