The Nigerian Air Force has officially released the identities of all 25 personnel and passengers who died following the tragic crash of its 931 aircraft in the swamps of Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday.
Announcing the names on Tuesday, the Director of Public Relations and Information at the NAF, Ehimen Ejodame, relayed the condolences of the Chief of Air Staff, Sunday Aneke, who described the fatal crash as an excruciatingly painful loss for both the armed forces and the country.
Ejodame confirmed that the ill-fated flight carried 25 individuals—five operating crew members and 20 passengers—with search-and-rescue efforts finding no survivors.
