Delta State Police Arrest 10 Suspects, Recover Illicit Drugs In Crackdown

Officers of the Delta State Police Command’s Anti-Cult Unit, CACU, have apprehended ten suspects and recovered illicit drugs from them in Owhelogbo Community, Isoko North Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects were arrested on the 4th of September 2026, at about 2130hrs.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe over the weekend.

“On 4th September 2026, at about 2130hrs, operatives of the Command Anti-Cult Unit (CACU), Ozoro, acting on credible intelligence on a suspect wanted in connection with an arson case at Owhelogbo Community in August, raided a brothel in Abbi, where the suspect was reportedly hiding.

“During the operation, ten suspects, comprising seven females and three males, were arrested, while Tramadol, Swinol, Canadian Loud and weeds suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered during the raid.

“Profiling of the suspects is ongoing, and those found culpable will be prosecuted.” The statement read in part.
