Ruth Kadiri Speaks Out After Social Media Death Rumour

Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has dismissed social media reports claiming she died, assuring fans that she is alive, safe and well.

Kadiri addressed the rumour in a video shared on her Instagram page after discovering that several social media accounts had been created to spread the false report.

“Please know that I am alive. I did not have an accident, and I’m safe,” the actress said.

She urged her followers to report any account spreading the false information rather than engaging with or amplifying the reports.

Kadiri said she was particularly disturbed that people would deliberately create multiple accounts to circulate news of her death.

“Just one click, one report, that’s all I require from you. Don’t even try to debunk the news,” she added.

In the accompanying caption, the actress expressed sadness over the rumour and appealed to social media users to help report pages carrying the false claim.
