A major economic alliance aimed at unlocking fresh tourism, trade and investment opportunities between Africa and the United States has been forged as IPADA Initiatives, the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) and D Evans Consulting Inc. entered into a strategic partnership.

The agreement comes ahead of the December 3, 2026 opening of the IPADA Initiatives Celebrations 2026, the annual mega cultural tourism fiesta promoted by IPADA Initiatives.

The partners signed the strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) effective July 29, 2026, with a sweeping agenda focused on trade, investment, workforce development, entrepreneurship and stronger engagement with the Global African Diaspora.

The alliance brings together the respective strengths of the three organisations to create new economic pathways through tourism, cultural exchange, investment readiness, workforce transformation and international business collaboration.

Under the agreement, IPADA Initiatives will spearhead diaspora engagement, tourism, cultural exchange, government collaboration and investment promotion across Africa.

The National Black Chamber of Commerce will deploy its extensive national and international business network to promote trade, investment, market access and strategic business partnerships between the United States and Africa.

D Evans Consulting Inc., meanwhile, will serve as the strategic implementation partner, providing investment readiness programmes, workforce development, organisational transformation, executive education and strategic advisory services.

The partners are targeting a broad range of initiatives, including investment readiness programmes, trade missions, investment forums, business-to-business and government-to-business matchmaking, workforce development, executive education, tourism and cultural exchanges.

Others include cross-border business partnerships, public-private partnerships and regional economic development projects.

The organisations said the partnership would go beyond a conventional business agreement, describing it as a platform for creating tangible opportunities for investment, business expansion, workforce transformation and cultural collaboration.

“This partnership represents more than a Memorandum of Understanding—it is a commitment to building sustainable pathways for trade, investment, workforce transformation, and economic empowerment between Africa and the Global African Diaspora,” the partners said in the MoU.

They expressed readiness to work with governments, chambers of commerce, investors, educational institutions, development organisations and private-sector leaders to drive inclusive economic growth and establish enduring international partnerships.

The partnership is expected to further position the Global African Diaspora as a critical economic force in Africa’s development, while creating platforms for investors and businesses to explore opportunities across the continent.

For IPADA Initiatives, known as “The Return,” the partnership reinforces its mission of reconnecting the Global African Diaspora with Africa through tourism, culture, trade, investment and sustainable economic development.

The National Black Chamber of Commerce brings its focus on advancing Black-owned businesses through entrepreneurship, advocacy, international trade, investment and strategic partnerships.

On its part, D Evans Consulting Inc. contributes expertise in human capital management, workforce development, investment readiness, organisational transformation and strategic advisory services.

With the IPADA Initiatives Celebrations 2026 set to open on December 3, the new alliance is poised to add a powerful economic dimension to the cultural celebration, potentially turning diaspora engagement into a stronger engine for tourism, investment, trade and job creation across Africa.
