Nigerian TikTok star, Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has drawn the line over the kind of roles he wants his newly married wife, content creator Jarvis, to accept from Nollywood producers and skitmakers.

The social media personality, who recently tied the knot with Jarvis, warned producers against assigning her kissing scenes or romantic roles involving other male actors.

Peller made his position known during a recent livestream, where he explained that he considered such roles inappropriate now that they were married.

According to him, giving Jarvis romantic roles with other men would amount to disrespecting their marriage, urging producers to stay away from such assignments.

“Nollywood producers, you can see that Jarvis and I are now married. Don’t ever give her a kissing role. I don’t want her acting in romantic roles with any actor. I am warning you all, stay in your lane,” he said.

Peller further warned that he would not take kindly to anyone who ignored his demand, using strong language to emphasise the seriousness of his position.

“To be forewarned is to be forearmed. I will harm anyone who refuses to heed my warning,” he added.

The comments have generated reactions among social media users, with some debating whether marriage should determine the type of professional roles an actor or content creator can accept.

Jarvis, whose real name is Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, has built a following through her content creation and appearances in entertainment productions.

Peller’s latest remarks suggest that he expects the boundaries of their marriage to extend to Jarvis’ professional engagements, particularly roles involving intimacy or romantic portrayals with other men.
