Martins Iyeh’s Big Brother Naija Season 11 journey has come to an end after just two weeks, following his eviction during Sunday’s live show.

The 30-year-old visual storyteller, creative director and model from Kogi State became the first housemate to leave the reality show after viewers’ votes determined the outcome of the week’s eviction process.

Martins was among the 24 contestants introduced when the season premiered on July 26. Themed “Everything Is For The Taking” and also known as “Show Ya Sef,” the season comes with a N160m prize package, including N100m in cash and an SUV.

At the start of the competition, Martins said he entered the house primarily to have fun and showcase his creativity. He also listed basketball among his interests and jokingly identified mind-reading as one of his hidden talents.

During his brief stay, Martins formed friendships with fellow housemates and participated in the social activities and conversations shaping the early dynamics of the season. His birthday was also celebrated in the house, with the other contestants organising a special gathering for him.

His eviction follows a week in which 16 housemates initially faced possible eviction. Head of House Sheba saved Chimsom Chuka, while Aikou and Flora remained protected as the season’s Gambits.

With Martins’ departure, the remaining housemates continue their pursuit of the N160m grand prize as nominations, tasks, alliances and weekly evictions intensify.
