‘We Wasted Our Time’ – Aisha Yesufu Criticises Peter Obi’s Channels TV Interview

Socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu has criticised Peter Obi’s recent Channels Television interview, describing it as repetitive and uninformative, saying viewers gained nothing new from the session.

Obi, the party’s 2027 presidential candidate, appeared on the programme on Sunday to discuss national issues and his political ambitions, with clips from the interview sparking mixed reactions online.

Reacting in a video posted on X, Yesufu said the interview repeated familiar conversations and offered no fresh questions or answers.

She argued that undue pressure was being placed on Obi to constantly defend his positions, while President Bola Tinubu was not subjected to similar scrutiny.

According to her, those who watched the interview “wasted their time” because nothing discussed had not already been said before.
