FAAN Reaffirms Commitment To Staff Development As CIPM Seeks Deeper Partnership

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has reaffirmed its commitment to human capital development, professional excellence and organisational growth following a courtesy visit by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) to the Authority’s headquarters.

The Managing Director/Chief Executive of FAAN, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, who was represented by the Director of Human Resources and Administration, Dr. Emiola Lukman, received the delegation and reiterated the Authority’s resolve to continuously invest in staff development.

Lukman also highlighted FAAN’s achievements in airport infrastructure, safety and security, customer service and operational excellence, stressing that building a skilled workforce remains central to the Authority’s mandate.

The CIPM delegation, led by its Registrar and Chief Executive, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Naiwo, commended FAAN for its sustained support for the Institute’s programmes and discussed opportunities for closer collaboration in capacity building, professional certification and participation in the 2026 International Conference and Exhibition (ICE).

Both organisations agreed to strengthen their partnership through continuous learning initiatives, enhanced capacity building and the promotion of professional standards across the aviation sector.
