Air Peace CEO Calls For Collaboration To Unlock Nigeria’s Tourism Potential

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema, has called for stronger collaboration and innovation among stakeholders to unlock Nigeria’s vast tourism potential and promote sustainable destination development across the country.

Onyema made the call while delivering a keynote address at the 10th Annual General Meeting and Conference of the Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP)

The conference, themed *”Unlocking Nigeria’s Tourism Potential: Strengthening Tour Operators for Sustainable Destination Development,”* brought together key players in the travel and tourism industry to discuss strategies for growing the sector and positioning Nigeria as a competitive tourism destination.

In his keynote address, Onyema stressed the need for greater synergy among tour operators, airlines, government agencies and other stakeholders to drive the growth of the country’s travel and tourism industry.

He said collaboration and innovation remain critical to harnessing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, diverse attractions and economic opportunities within the tourism value chain.

According to him, strengthening partnerships among industry players will help boost domestic tourism, create jobs and contribute to national economic development.

Air Peace, in a statement after the event, said Onyema’s presentation reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at advancing Nigeria’s travel and tourism industry through collaboration and innovation.
