FAAN Partners With MMIA HostCom To Boost Airport Safety, Security

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has reaffirmed its commitment to securing Nigeria’s premier global gateway, the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, by engaging directly with the traditional rulers of its host communities.

Representing FAAN’s MD/CE, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr. Henry Agbebire, met with revered royal fathers from the Isolo, Ewu, Shasha, Ejigbo, and Orisumbare kingdoms.

Key highlights from the strategic engagement include Environmental Management: A deep dive into mitigating bird strike hazards caused by poor waste management near the airport.

Aviation Security: Collaborative strategies to protect lives, property, and critical national infrastructure.

 Mutual Cooperation: Royal fathers pledged their full support while sharing community insights to foster peaceful coexistence.
