JAMB Opens 2026 UTME Change of Institution Portal, Begins Result Slip Printing Today

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has activated the process for candidates seeking to change their institution or programme of choice following the release of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

In a post on X by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin, the examination body directed affected candidates to visit approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide to carry out the changes.

“Candidates wishing to change their institution or programme of choice may now proceed to do so by visiting any of the Board’s approved CBT centres,” the statement said.

JAMB advised applicants to ensure they use only accredited CBT centres for the process to avoid errors or possible fraud.

The Board also announced that printing of the original 2026 UTME result slip will commence on Monday, May 18, 2026.

According to the statement signed by Benjamin, candidates who require the original result slip for admission processing, scholarship applications or other official purposes can begin printing from the scheduled date.
