Joshua Eyes Fury Showdown, Books July Fight

The fight, announced by Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, will be staged as part of an Esports World Cup event and streamed on DAZN. It marks Joshua’s first outing since his knockout win over Jake Paul in December.

The former heavyweight champion had taken time off after being involved in a car accident in Nigeria that claimed two of his close friends, though he sustained only minor injuries.

Joshua has since resumed training and signed a two-fight deal under Riyadh Season, with a potential blockbuster clash against Tyson Fury later this year.

Speaking on his return, Joshua said he has rebuilt and is ready to compete again, adding that he is focused on picking up where he left off.
