APC Fixes ₦100m Presidential Form, Sets May 15 Primary For 2027 Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its timetable for the 2027 general elections, pegging its presidential nomination form at ₦100 million.

According to the schedule released by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, and announced by spokesperson Felix Morka, presidential aspirants will pay ₦30 million for expression of interest and ₦70 million for nomination.

Governorship aspirants will pay ₦50 million, while Senate, House of Representatives, and State Assembly tickets are priced at ₦20 million, ₦10 million, and ₦6 million respectively.

The party also granted concessions to women, youths, and persons with disabilities, who will only pay for expression of interest and 50% of nomination fees.

The APC said sales of forms will run from April 25 to May 2, 2026, while submission closes on May 4. Screening will hold between May 6 and May 9, with results and appeals scheduled for mid-May.

Presidential primary election is fixed for May 15–16, followed by other primaries for the House of Representatives, Senate, State Assemblies, and governorship seats between May 18 and May 23, 2026.

The party said the process is aimed at strengthening internal democracy and ensuring a transparent selection of candidates ahead of the 2027 polls.
