Popular social media influencer Martins Otse has agreed to an amicable resolution of the legal dispute between him and celebrity cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly called BLord following the intervention of veteran activist Omoyele Sowore.

The development comes weeks after Blord was remanded at Kuje Correctional Centre for 26 days on April 1, 2026, over a heated social media clash with VeryDarkMan.

Reacting at the time, Sowore criticised the circumstances surrounding Blord’s remand, accusing VeryDarkMan and his lawyer, Marshall Abubakar, of leveraging influence to secure the detention, while vowing to push for his release.

VeryDarkMan had initially fired back, threatening legal action against Sowore and questioning his style of activism.

However, the tension eased after a court granted Blord bail on self-recognition two weeks into his detention.

Speaking to journalists after the bail was perfected, Abubakar confirmed that both parties are now committed to resolving the matter peacefully.

He said the parties have agreed to work together toward an out-of-court settlement and will update the court on progress at the next adjourned date.

Abubakar also expressed appreciation to Sowore for his role in de-escalating the dispute, noting that both Blord and VeryDarkMan have chosen to move past the conflict in the interest of unity.

He acknowledged that while tensions had run high, both individuals are influential young Nigerians whose energies are better channelled toward positive contributions, stressing that reconciliation remains the priority going forward.
