Residents of Ogun East are being called upon to rally behind Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun as the 2027 senatorial race approaches, with supporters highlighting his record of tangible achievements and transformative leadership’s as a testament.

In a statement, political commentator Tayo Mabeweje argued that while “hired cyberbullies can shout,” Abiodun’s legacy of action cannot be erased.

He described the governor’s tenure as one defined by measurable progress rather than political slogans.

Among the projects highlighted are the revitalization of the Ijebu-Ode bypass, the Magboro Rice Plantation, and the Ogun State Social Investment Program.

Supporters say these initiatives, alongside youth empowerment schemes, have uplifted communities, strengthened the economy, and demonstrated Abiodun’s commitment to inclusive governance.

“Where others see barriers, he sees opportunity. Where others hesitate, he pioneers,” Mabeweje wrote, portraying Abiodun as a resilient leader who thrives under pressure and turns challenges into opportunities.

He added that critics have attempted to undermine his record through online attacks, but supporters insist that his accomplishments — including the Ijebu Ode-Epe road improvements and innovations in governance efficiency — stand as enduring proof of his leadership.

As Ogun East prepares for the 2027 elections, Mabeweje emphasized that the region faces a clear choice: continue with leaders “without character” or support a statesman whose legacy is already visible in action.

“The Senate seat of Ogun East demands more than ambition; it demands a legacy,” he concluded, urging citizens to back Abiodun’s candidacy.

He also advised the critics and naysayers to desist from spreading false nàrratives about the governor achievement.

“To the naysayers, to hired cyberbullies, and to those who spread false narratives online: your noise cannot erase his impact.

“Words may attack, but results endure. Projects like the Ijebu Ode-Epe road improvements, the empowerment of thousands of youths, and innovations in governance efficiency stand as unshakable proof of his leadership”.
