Yobe Governor Donates Vehicles To APC Local Government Chairmen

Governor Mai Mala Buni has presented brand new vehicles to the 17 local government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress in Yobe State to support party activities at the grassroots.

The vehicles were handed over on Monday at the APC state secretariat in Damaturu, with Deputy Governor Idi Barde Gubana representing the governor.

Buni urged the chairmen to use the vehicles responsibly and remain committed to promoting the party’s programmes across their respective local government areas.

Speaking at the event, Gubana emphasised the need for party unity, warning the chairmen against actions capable of causing division within the party. He noted that the vehicles were meant to enhance their mobility and improve grassroots engagement.

State APC chairman Muhammad Gadaka commended the governor for the gesture and encouraged the beneficiaries to reciprocate with loyalty and dedication.

In addition to the vehicles, the governor also donated Sallah clothes and wrappers to 37 members of the party’s state executive committee, while Secretary to the State Government Baba Malam Wali contributed ₦2 million to support fuel expenses for the vehicles.
