Middle East Tensions Force Ronaldo’s Exit From Riyadh

Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly left Saudi Arabia for Madrid following escalating tensions in the Middle East triggered by US-Israeli strikes on Iran.

According to reports, the 41-year-old captain of Al-Nassr departed Riyadh late at night aboard his private jet, arriving in Spain in the early hours after flying over Egypt and the Mediterranean.

The move comes amid rising regional instability, with drone incidents reported in Riyadh and other strategic locations. Saudi authorities confirmed that a limited fire broke out at the United States Embassy in the capital after it was struck by drones, resulting in minor material damage.

The conflict escalated after joint military operations by the United States and Israel targeted sites in Iran, prompting retaliatory actions across parts of the region.

Ronaldo, who lives in Riyadh with his partner and children, has not publicly commented on the development.
