Tinubu, Wife Offered To Fly Me Abroad After Crash — Saidi Balogun

Veteran Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has revealed that President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu once offered to fly him abroad for medical treatment after he was involved in a serious car accident.

Speaking during an interview on OYINMOMO TV, Balogun said the crash left him in critical condition, prompting the President and his wife to arrange overseas care out of concern for his wellbeing.

Although he eventually received treatment in Nigeria and did not travel, he said their swift intervention left a lasting impression.

“When I had an accident, President Tinubu and his wife stepped in and asked that I be taken abroad for treatment. I was well treated in Nigeria,” he recalled.

Balogun added that when he asked the First Lady why she went to such lengths, she told him: “You are a star of God, and they must not let your light dim.”

According to the actor, the experience strengthened his belief in compassion and the importance of helping others in times of need.
