Izah, Notorious Drug Dealer Nabbed In Abraka, Delta State

A combined team of Operatives of the Delta Sweep and youths of Abraka community in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested a notorious drug dealer, Benson Izah, with a large quantity of illicit drugs concealed in his motorcycle. He was nabbed at the secretariat of the Abraka Community Youth Wing. He is alleged to be the kingpin of the drug trade in the University town.

Investigations, after the arrest led security operatives to four warehouses linked to him where large quantities of hard drugs were discovered.

Izah and the seized drugs will be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further investigation and prosecution.

According to The Youth leader of Abraka Izah’s arrest was met with widespread relief and jubilation across the town.

The collaboration between the youths and police operatives is lauded and there are calls for it to continue.

As at press time there is no response by The Police Command of Delta State on the arrest.
