Naira Gains N13.81 Against Dollar At Official Window

The Nigerian currency, the naira, gained against the American dollar at the official market on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

According to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Foreign exchange data, the naira closed at N1,565.46/$1 as against N1, 579.27/$1 it traded on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

This represents a gain of N13.81 for the local currency against the American greenback.

On the black market, the naira again closed flat against the dollar to trade at N1,615/$1 same as the previous day’s rate of N1, 615/$1.

The naira also closed flat against the British Pound to trade at N2,160/£1 the same as the previous day’s rate of N2,160/£1.

The naira continued to close flat against the Canadian dollar at N1,220/CA$1, the same as the previous day’s rate of N1,220/CA$1.

The naira closed flat against the Euro to trade at ₦1,805/€1 the same as the previous day’s rate of ₦1,810/€1.
