Secondus Calls On President Tinubu To Reinstate Fubara

Prince Uche Secondus, a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, has called on President Bola Tinubu to as a matter of urgency restore the suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, to power as that is the only way the people’s mandate would be upheld in Rivers State.

This was contained in his Easter message released through his Special Adviser on Media, Ike Abonyi, on Sunday.

He stated that the activities of the Rivers Sole Administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas, has set the state on a keg of gunpowder.

“The President should be guided by the voice of reason by restoring Governor Similaya Fubara, who has the mandate of the people.

“The Sole Administrator’s activities have set Rivers State on a keg of gunpowder, and I weep for my state. Sadly, Rivers State has found itself on the ugly side of history over the control of Resources and the state by one man,” the statement read in part.

The PDP stakeholder Secondus was full of praises for The Ijaw Nation for their maturity in the unfavorable development:

“My special appreciation goes to the Ijaw nation, its leaders and people, the indisputable fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria with over 30 LGAs across seven states, for managing the provocations”

“Easter period reminds us of brotherly love, peaceful co-existence, tolerance, honesty, humility, justice, equity and fairness to all without discrimination as contained in the Scriptures.” He said.

The House of Representatives Ad- hoc Committee on Rivers State recently invited The Sole Administrator of The State, Ibokette ibas over the developments in the state under his watch.
