On Thursday, 18th April 2025 — the official commencement date for political campaigns as declared by LASIEC — Ba’mofin Adetunji Akinyemi made a bold and heartfelt declaration of his ambition to contest for the Chairmanship of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA). In a show of generosity and solidarity, he donated over 500 foodstuff packs to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the LCDA.
