US Threatens Deportation For Migrants Who Entered Under Biden’s CBP One App

The Trump administration has ordered migrants who utilized the CBP One app during the Biden presidency to leave the United States immediately, or face deportation and a permanent ban from re-entry.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued formal notices, delivered via email, instructing these individuals to voluntarily depart using the CBP Home App. This action follows President Trump’s decision to rescind the CBP One app, which had allowed migrants to schedule appointments at U.S. border entry points.

Officials have made it clear that non-compliance will lead to the location and deportation of affected individuals. The revocation of the app, implemented in January 2023, is expected to impact over 930,000 migrants.

This policy shift is consistent with Trump’s strict immigration stance and campaign promises to deport undocumented individuals. The DHS spokesperson emphasized that the move is aimed at securing the border and protecting national security.

This decision comes after the Trump administration also revoked the legal status of over 500,000 migrants from certain countries, giving them only weeks to leave the U.S.
