In celebration of Mother’s Day, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has opened up about her arduous journey to motherhood, sharing her emotional experience on Instagram.

Despite the hardships she endured, Adesua expressed her unwavering devotion to her sons, stating that she would gladly go through it all again for them.

In her heartfelt reflection, she recounted the numerous challenges she faced, including a complicated pregnancy, emergency C-section, sleepless nights, and physical struggles. Yet, she emphasized that the joy, love, and triumph of motherhood far outweigh the difficulties.

Etomi also used the moment to honor the resilience and selflessness of mothers everywhere, describing them as “the closest thing to magic.”

Extending warm wishes to all mothers, she acknowledged their tireless dedication and unconditional love.

*”Today, I’m taking the time to think about my journey to motherhood. It wasn’t a straight road, but when I look at my boys, it is well worth it. The tough pregnancy journey, the complications, the injections, the emergency C-section, the sleepless nights, the tough healing process, the post-birth constipation, the endless expressing, the bleeding and cracked nipples, showing up and being present even when ill, the round-the-clock shifts, the joy, the indescribable love, the triumph, the laughter, the beautiful moments—I’d do it all again for these boys. I will literally do anything for them.
