Davido Donates To Over 500 Orphanages, Fulfills N300m Charity Pledge

Award-winning singer Davido has announced that his foundation, the David Adeleke Foundation, successfully supported over 500 orphanages this year.

This initiative fulfills the promise he made on his 32nd birthday in 2024 to donate N300 million to orphanages and charities focused on helping young people avoid drug abuse and addiction.

At the time, he shared: “Once again, my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse and addiction.

Providing an update, Davido took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm his foundation’s impact, writing:

“My foundation was able to help over 500 motherless babies’ homes this year… we go again next year!”
