“I’ve received many questions about why I burned my Versace items instead of giving them away,” Mabote wrote. “According to the Bible, such things are considered accursed.

The image of Medusa, for example, represents a Greek god from the marine kingdom. As believers, we cannot serve two masters. I cannot, in good conscience, pass on items that carry deep spiritual implications.”
