“Most Wicked People In Nigeria” – Bobrisky Slams EFCC

Social media personality Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has launched a scathing attack on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following the recent death of one of their officers in Anambra State.

In a series of Instagram posts shared on Monday, January 20, 2025, Bobrisky expressed his disdain for the law enforcement agency, recalling his own negative experience with them.

He described reading about the EFCC online as nauseating, claiming they were among the “most wicked people in Nigeria.”

He went on to recount an incident when he was in their custody, stating, “When I was in your custody, you took me to my house and searched it.

You claimed I was involved in money laundering, so you wanted to check if I was printing money at home. Police are better than you all 1 million times.”

Bobrisky also revealed that EFCC officers requested the phone number of social media personality Abike Halima Raheem, also known as Papaya.

He refused to cooperate, saying, “I told you I don’t have her number. Even if I’m not talking to her, I won’t be heartless to set her up like that because I wasn’t trained to be a snitch.”

Despite his frustrations, Bobrisky emphasized that he is a law-abiding citizen who always honors invitations from the authorities.

“I’m a good citizen who obeys the laws. I could have flown out of Nigeria immediately after receiving your invitation letter, but I chose to stay and honor it,” he said.
