Wizkid, Ayra Starr Among World’s Top Artistes Of 2024

Nigerian music sensations Wizkid and Ayra Starr have been named among the world’s top artistes of 2024 by Chart Data, a global music monitoring platform.

The annual list, released on New Year’s Eve, ranked Wizkid at the 11th spot and Ayra Starr at 18th. South African singer Tyla also made the prestigious list, securing the 12th position.

The top 10 featured notable international stars, including South Korean icon Jimin and American chart-toppers Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and Nicki Minaj.

In a related recognition, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy were included in Active World’s “Top 20 Music Global Icons Shaping the Future.” Davido ranked third, while Wizkid and Burna Boy secured the 6th and 8th spots, respectively.
