Coronation Insurance has highlighted the importance of Data and Cybersecurity to the insurance raising alarm that in today’s interconnected digital world, the insurance industry has become a prime target for cybercriminals.
It noted further that with vast amounts of sensitive customer data, including financial information, personal details, and even medical records, Insurance companies face an unprecedented level of risk.
The insurance coy in a recent report warned that as the Insurance industry continues to evolve in embracing digital platforms and technologies, the risks associated with cyber threats have intensified.
