JUST IN: Tinubu Appoints Eight New Permanent Secretaries

President Bola Tinubu has appointed eight new permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill existing vacancies across various states and geopolitical zones.

This was announced on Monday evening in a statement by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who highlighted that the appointments followed a diligent selection process recommended by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries are:  

Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia State)

Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa State)

Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi State)

Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu State)

Kalba Usman (Gombe State)

Usman Aminu (Kebbi State)

Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers State)

Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)

This marks the second set of eight permanent secretaries appointed by Tinubu, following similar appointments last June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, the South-East, and South-South regions.

President Tinubu urged the appointees to demonstrate innovation, diligence, and commitment in serving the nation.
