Pastor Bolaji Idowu Denies ₦1.5 Billion Fraud Allegations, Says “I’m Not Into Real Estate”

Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), Pastor Bolaji Idowu, has publicly denied allegations linking him to a ₦1.5 billion fraud.

Speaking during his “Next Level Prayers” session on Wednesday, Pastor Idowu addressed the viral social media claims, refuting accusations of involvement in fraudulent real estate transactions.

“I want to state some facts clearly,” he began. “I do not have any property in Nigeria apart from the one bequeathed to me by my late parents. I am not in the business of buying or selling properties.”

The pastor also dismissed claims of receiving billions of naira in his accounts. “Someone said I received billions into my account. My account is public; anyone can check. I did not,” he said.

Despite the controversy, Pastor Idowu expressed gratitude to his supporters. “I want to thank all of you that showed a lot of love. We are victorious,” he affirmed.

Acknowledging the public nature of the allegations, he added: “As you are reading it, I’m also reading it, like wow.”

This comes amid heightened scrutiny of public figures accused of financial misdeeds in Nigeria. Pastor Idowu maintains his innocence, urging anyone with doubts to verify his financial records.
