Breaking: Governor Sanwo-Olu Unveils N3 Trillion ‘Budget Of Sustainability’ For 2025

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill, valued at over N3 trillion, to the State House of Assembly for review and approval.

Dubbed the ‘Budget of Sustainability’, the financial plan aims to ensure continuity, resilience, and prosperity for Lagosians. It is anchored on five strategic pillars: Infrastructure, Sustainability, Economic Diversification, Institutional Reforms, and Economic Growth.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony in the State House, Alausa, Ikeja, Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of the budget as a roadmap for a more prosperous Lagos.

This announcement follows the governor’s signing of the N2.267 trillion 2024 Appropriation Bill earlier in January, marking a significant step in Lagos State’s development agenda.

The event was attended by Deputy Governor Dr. Femi Hamzat, Speaker of the House Mudashiru Obasa, and other dignitaries.
