Remi Tinubu Denies Organising National Prayer

Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, has refuted claims that she is organizing a national prayer session to address the country’s economic challenges.

Reports had suggested that the First Lady, in collaboration with others, was planning such a prayer event for the nation.

In response, the First Lady’s spokesperson, Busola Kukoyi, issued a statement on Saturday, calling the reports both misleading and baseless.

“This is to clarify and inform the general public that the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON is not organizing a National Prayer.

“The news making rounds in some conventional and social media platforms is unfounded and misleading. Consequently, anyone who might have come across the purported news of the joint National Prayer for Nigeria should disregard it as false,” Kukoyi said.

“Members of the public are advised to verify the authenticity of any news or event involving the First Lady of Nigeria or her office through official channels.”
