Grammy-nominated artist Davido has made history on TikTok, setting a new record for the most-watched livestream in Africa.

On October 30, Davido, alongside popular content creators Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq, captivated viewers with an electrifying livestream. The session drew an unprecedented 389,800 viewers, with 164,000 people watching simultaneously, breaking Peller’s previous record, which featured singer Tiwa Savage.

In a generous gesture, Davido announced that all earnings from the livestream gifts would go to his co-hosts, Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq.
